KEWL Consulting
Kristina Williams
I’m an Equitable Economic and Community Development leader and founder of KEWL Consulting and co-founder of Colmena Consulting. Through these ventures, I collaborate with organizations to drive impactful, equity-centered solutions that empower nonprofits, businesses, and communities to thrive.
Throughout my career, I’ve managed multimillion-dollar nonprofit budgets, expanding operations by nearly 40% and leading initiatives that tackled critical issues like public safety, sanitation, and civic engagement. My leadership in the Baltimore Main Street program attracted investment to underserved communities, and my neighborhood engagement tracking system continues to enhance local collaboration and outcomes.
As a Daniel Rose Center fellow, I worked with cities across the U.S. on innovative strategies for equitable economic development, focusing on land use and workforce growth. I’m equally passionate about supporting small businesses, particularly in the food and hospitality industries, where I help restaurants elevate their bar programs with my Level 2 certification in wine and spirits.
At KEWL and Colmena Consulting, my mission is clear: foster growth and equity for communities, organizations, and businesses alike. Learn more about how we can work together at Colmena Consulting.
